The STILTS Project: Taking Science Learning Up a Notch

  • technology-enhanced PD in a virtual environment from the comfort of your own home?
  • collaborative professional development for content integration, grade level articulation, and/or student achievement gains?
  • Implementing integrated CCSS and NGSS core concepts and practices in your classes?

Teachers who are selected to participate will receive a $900 stipend upon completion of units.
Participants commit to 60 hours of professional development (PD) over one school year starting with a two-day summer institute Th-F 6/23-6/24 2016 at the Lane Education Service District. Additional PD will take place online in the immersive digital world of Second Life and conclude with a 1-day institute in June 2017.

Space is limited to 32 participants.
